Mit navn er Wojciech Nowak. Jeg arbejder som præst hos Jesuitterne i Sankt Augustins Kirke i København. Inden jeg kom til Danmark (2023) jeg var leder og ansvarlig i afdelingen spirituel for European Center of Communication and Culture in Warsaw (2008-2014) og jeg var chef for Centret for Spirituel Formation i Kalisz (2015-2023). Tro har været en vigtig del af mit liv siden min barndom. Jeg søgte at møde den levende Gud. Samtidig var jeg også nysgerrig på verden, og på at lære livet at kende. Jeg havde passion for faldskærmsudspring, bjergvandring og bestigning, ski, samt maratonløb....

THE WAY OF THE ICON is a creative circle connected with the ministry of Jesuits and inspiredby the spiritual and artistic beauty of the ICON – a painting “not made by human hand”. Our aim is to learn about and implement the message carried by the Sacred Image, in other words to accept and to show in art the truth about God who manifested in the flesh and and gave testimony of it.
